Friday night after work Ross met some friends for drinks at Rock Bottom Brewery. He returned home around 7:30...without his wedding ring. However, he didn't notice that it was missing right away. It was after 8pm that he made the discovery. After searching his pockets and all of the plausible places that it may have been lost around the house, he decided to go back to Rock Bottom.
For those of you who were at Jay and Kelsey's wedding, you know where this one is going... :)
He explained his situation to the host who led him back to the men's room where Ross promptly dug through the trash. Voila! There it was, just as he had expected. His wedding ring had sunk to the bottom of the bag and after a few pokes, he was able to reach in and pull it out!
Moral of the story: A: Just don't wash your hands after you go to the bathroom, so this sort of thing won't happen to you or B: After washing and drying your hands in a public restroom, make sure your ring didn't fly off with the paper towels!
I'm SO glad he found it! Yes, the case of the missing wedding ring at our wedding will live in infamy!
