Where does the time go?

Sage is a week old already...hard to believe! I am constantly amazed at how fast the days go by. I am not ready for Ross (nor is he) to go back to work. However, we are extremely fortunate for the time that we have gotten to spend together getting to know our baby girl.

Here are a few more pictures of Sage--by request of Grandma.

Tummy Time--Although not too enthusiastic about it... :)

Sunbathing with my Biliblanket because I'm a little jaundiced.

Hanging out with Uncle Josh in our game day gear. Go Hawks!

Curled up with Aunt Sheila.

(A bit fuzzy)...but happy Daddy just gave me a bath after I projectile vomited all over Mommy.

Daddy entertained my cousin, Ben, while his mom, Aunt Jill, cuddled with me.

Men Nest Too!

Call us crazy, but with four weeks to go until the arrival of our little one, Ross (with a little coaxing) started laying wood laminate flooring on our main level. When the project is finished, there will be laminate everywhere except for our drop-down family room, which is carpeted. He started Friday night by tearing out the carpet, pad, and tack strips. This is what it looked like when we went to bed that night.
On Saturday morning he started laying the floor.
And by Sunday night, the dining room, living room, and piano area were finished (minus the piece of shoe trim that lines the baseboards.) I felt almost helpless throughout the whole deal, but tried to help out as much as possible. I can't believe how much he got finished!!

Yes, there are still 16/38 boxes to be laid in the hallway, bathroom, and kitchen, but that's for another day. :)

35 Weeks and Counting

I recently read in "The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy" that pregnant women should not cut their hair. "It's a phase that you need to let pass because a pumpkin face at nine-months pregnant is not cute with a short haircut." Well, I obviously didn't listen to the advice and decided to cut my hair. I feel like I lost five pounds... and that says a lot for how I feel right now!!

We're hanging in there, but definitely getting anxious!
