Tis the Season

I know what you're thinking...it's not even Thanksgiving! However, I never even got to decorating the tree last year, so I thought I'd start early. :) It's so much more fun when there's a little one around to enjoy all of the lights.

We have a Charlie Brown ornament that, when you push a button, the little stage lights up and Linus tells the entire Christmas story. Sage is simply fascinated by it. I've probably played it for her at least ten times already.

She also really likes all of the sparkly globes.

"Mommy, may I please have that one, right there?"

Of course. :)

Fall Days

Sage has been battling a bad cold over the past week, which she has kindly passed on to me. However, we made sure to get out and enjoy the leaves before they are all gone! I wish I had the flip camera for this little moment because Sage studied the "cliff" for a good 30 seconds before turning over and back-pedaling down. Once down, she still wasn't convinced that she had cleared the ledge, so she continued to back pedal across the lawn, scratching her legs side-to-side like a dog would do after he/she is done taking a poo. She did the same thing when she needed to get down the "hill" in the backyard--she dropped to a crawl and scooted backwards a good ten feet.

I think we are going to have to keep the swing up through the winter. Sage LOVES to swing!
